The Feria de la Cultura Cubana Arte en la Rampa fair is a cultural promotion space that opens its doors during two months every summer – this 2018 from June 29 to September 2 – in its traditional Pabellón Cuba location, though it also reaches out to other spots of La Rampa, a centric boulevard running along 23 Street from Malecón to L Street in el Vedado.

The fair is one of the most expected, busy and pleasant summer venues in Havana for locals and visitors alike.

Exhibits and expo-sales of cultural goods and services come together in this space showing a wide array of national art at its best as well as recreational options for all types of public.

Visitors can find in Arte en la Rampa expo-sales presented by cultural businesses and ventures, live presentations of famous artists, as well as exhibits, meetings and workshops where the public exchanges with exhibitors in a diversity of genres and styles.

Exhibits and sales of original artisans’ designs of artistic and at the same time utilitarian value, worked upon ceramics, leather, wood, textiles, metals, glass, etc. are presented in dozens of stands; also goldsmith and jewelry pieces together with graphic printings, shoes and clothes, all of them manufactured by artisans as well as productions attractive to children.

As part of the program the public can enjoy live music presentations, concerts, theater plays, dance shows, runways, plastic art exhibits, photo shows, children entertainment, literary exchanges and traditional music performances, book sales and phonograms of different editorial houses that wait for this event to launch their products.

Together with the fair the Pabellón Cuba holds its traditional weekly venues adding up to the revelry with film presentations, radio and television debates, meetings with cultural personalities, all of these enhanced by Cuban cuisine and cocktails offers.

Sponsored by the Fondo de Bienes Culturales fund – main organizer and exponent with more than 50% occupation of the fair space with expo-sales of artistic and artisan works – and the Asociación Hermanos Saíz association, contributing with more than a dozen stands, Arte en la Rampa offers an extensive program of high cultural and utilitarian value capturing the public at large, aiming to develop and diversify the cultural offer with new products and services quite welcomed by all.
